Bio

Jaynee Watson was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. After receiving her BFA in Printmaking from Sonoma State University, she became highly active in the local art community; displaying her art regularly and working at an Emerging Art Gallery. Watson relocated to Portland, OR to attend the Pacific Northwest College of Art where she has now been awarded her MFA in Print Media. You can find themes surrounding intimacy, objective voyeurism and minimalist abstraction in her current body of work.
Jaynee co-owns and operates a Fine Art Publishing press called Salt Press in Portland, Or alongside three other women, Devyn Park, Emma Flick and Heather Coleman.
